Creating Beautiful Wood Designs with a Purpose.

Meet Amy, the owner and Designer of Love to Redo.  Love to Redo started as a passion to paint and repurpose all the wood fence panels Amy saw being thrown in the trash. She hated to see all that usable wood being dumped in the landfills, and just knew she could come up with something that could keep that from happening and make something of beauty.

Shortly before the holiday season in 2016, Amy began experimenting with designs and posted them locally for sale.  Overwhelmed by the response, she knew she was onto something good. Amy loves creating beautiful signs and helping to save the environment at the same time. She chooses non-toxic paint, and creates each and every design herself. These signs are truly handmade with love.

Amy is always coming up with new designs and loves custom orders. If you have something in mind, please reach out to her.  Amy is a graphic designer by trade, so she has  plenty of training and experience to make something with a beautiful design aesthetic.

Do you Love Handmade – Shabby Chic – Upcycled -Vintage – Salvage?

I love, love, love vintage, antique shopping.  I have also fallin in love with shabby chick repurposing.  My friend Lisa is the owner of Sparkklejar.  She creates upcycled, recycled repurposed, salvaged, vintage, altered art, on  mason fruit jars.  Theses jars have a shabby chic, antique feel where glass meets glitter.

Lisa also repurposes tin cans with shabby cottage white. Painted with uneven brush strokes, faded and distressed down to bare metal in random areas. she then decals the cans with blue birds on a wild rose or pink dogwood branch, on the side. These are beautiful to use for wedding center pieces or as a farmhouse design.

Lisa also offers Barley bag,  all natural microwave heating bags.  When your backs sore just throw it in the microwave, heat it up for a few minutes and place it on your back…ooohhhhh relief!  Just think of the relief you will get when you place it on your aching body.

She also makes  1/2 size barley pads and flax filled freezer packs for the eyes and forehead. These are such a relief when you have a headache or much worse a migraine headache.  The great thing I like about my pack is it has no mess, no dripping water.

One of a Kind Artistic Design….

I would like to introduce you to a wonderful shop and friend of mine.  Glenda is the owner and designer of Eclectic BeadWorks. If you are looking for a very unique and special piece of jewelry that has a beautiful bohemian style,  I have a pretty good feeling that you will find it here. All of the designs are truly one of a kind and personally handmade.

Eclectic BeadWorks jewelry is influenced by the earthy Native American elements of the Pacific Northwest where Glenda lives, as well as by the Native tribes of many foreign lands. Czech glass beads, Swarovski Crystal Beads, and Hill Tribe Silver from exotic Thailand all carry the whispers of past cultures and extraordinary adventures across a thousand rivers and mountains. Glenda brings together this crazy, eclectic mix of color and texture and whimsy with leather and sterling silver and gold to create eclectic, one of a kind creations for everyone, even your pets. Glenda uses high quality materials such as genuine turquoise from Arizona and Nevada, gem stones, Karen Hill Tribe Silver, sterling silver and more. Tiny little details, faces perhaps, a little eye looking at you, a tiny heart scattered here and there, as well as stamped Hill Tribe Silver beads and charms and many other delights! It’s in the details that help her create special, one of a kind bracelets, necklaces, earrings and pet necklaces.
